Give five performers a copy of Robinson Crusoe and Bernard McGuigan's new solitary sculpture series, inspired by Defoe's words, and lock each in a different nook and cranny of a house
Alone
Give the audience the key
Over twenty eight days, audiences explored Bernard McGuigan's evocative sculptures as never before in a remarkable scrutiny of solitude by Otti Albeitz, Bev Lee Harling, Oliver Cherer, Vladimir Miller and Yumino Seki, each practitioner scrutinising their practice in a daring new way, this on the tercentenary of the publication of Defoe's Robinson Crusoe.
The performance series was so popular, the run extended. The experiment has now come to a close but if you are a venue and would like to book one of five 60 minute performances that resulted, please email explorers@explorethearch.com
